********,June 21: 19 persons including bus driver, 2 women and 2 children were killed on spot on Bombay road near *********. A passenger full bus collided head-on with a lorry coming from opposite direction. The lorry suddenly lost control and dashed against the bus. The local people ran to the spot In the accident, 31 others were wounded- nine of them seriously. Local people rescued the injured passengers and removed them to the local hospital. Three of them were released after first-aid and the rest were admitted to the hospital for proper medical treatment. The police came within half an hour and arrested the driver of the lorry. After some time the police brought the violent situation under control.
