THE JACKDAW AND THE PEACOCKS

One day a jackdaw, an ugly looking creature as he was, wanted to become as beautiful as the peacock. Therefore he found a number of feathers which had fallen from peacock when they were moulting. He tried them to his tail. Thus the foolish jackdaw decorated himself and tried look like the beautiful  bird as the peacock. He strutted loftily among the birds of his own kind. Then he wanted to enjoy company of peacocks. One day the jackdaw joined some peacocks in a forest. 

    Now the peacocks could know the true entity of the jackdaw which was in the guise of the peacock. Therefore they started pulling out the peacock feathers form his body. Soon the actual entity of the jackdaw was revealed. Ultimately peacocks drove the odd bird from them. The poor jackdaw returned sadly to his former companions. There another unpleasant surprise awaited him. They had not forgotten his superior airs towards them and to punish him, they also drove him away with a rain of pecks and jeers. 

 MORAL:~ One should never try to hide one's actual entity.
