    Sir,

        I beg to state that people of our village have been facing a lot of difficulties for the lack of a post office in the neighborhood. The nearest post office is 3 kilometres away from our village. As a result, the villagers cover this long distance to buy post cards, inland letters, envelopes and and to post letters, send M.O etc. Moreover, letters do not reach us in time as the postman is not regular in delivering them. Kapastikri is our village which is under Keshpur P.S in the district of Paschim Medinipur. It is 5 kilometres away from the nearest bus stand and twenty kilometres from the South Eastern Railways.

        The people of our village will therefore, remain ever grateful if you be kind enough to open a new post office in our village.
