THE PIED PIPER OF HAMELIN


Hamelin was a town in Germany. Once Hamelin became badly infested with rats. It caused a lot of problems to the people and their food gains. The Mayor and the people tried to kill the rats but in vain. Then the Mayor promised a handsome reward of gold for killing the rats. One day a pied piper came to Hamelin. He demanded a thousand of gold coins for killing the rats. The Mayor readily agreed. The piper played his pipe, all the rats came out and followed him. He let the rats to the river and the rats were drowned.
But the Mayor denied to pay the the piper the promised gold coins. Then the piper planed to teach him a lesson. He began to play his pipe to a different tune. All the children of the town followed to cave in  the forest. They entered into a the cave to come back never. The parents of those children bade the mayor in furry.  
MORAL:~ As you sow, so you reap.
or
Promises should be kept.
