THE WITTY CAP SELLER

O
nce upon a time, a cap-seller was going to a fair to sell his caps. His way lay through a thick forest. He was walking from a long time and feeling tired. He decided to rest for a while under a tree. So, he sat under a tree to take a nap. The cap-seller was wearing a cap and the rest were beside him. Monkeys lived in the tree. They saw the caps. They quietly came down and stole away all the caps. On waking, he found that all his caps were missing. Suddenly he saw that the monkeys on the tree were wearing a cap each. The cap-seller knew that it was impossible to catch them. He became very upset, he shouted at  the monkeys in the tree. The monkeys yelled back at him. This made the cap-seller much more irritated. He picked up few stones from the ground and threw them at the monkeys. This time the monkeys threw fruits they had in their hands at the cap-seller. The cap-seller was shocked at these actions of the monkeys. Then the cap-seller thought for a while and hit upon a  plan. He remembered that the monkeys were imitating him. The cap-seller had a cap on his own head. He at once took the cap from his head and threw it on the ground. The monkeys immediately did the same. They threw their caps on the ground. The clever cap-seller picked them up and went away happily.
