Travelling is a part of Education

M
an is a wanderer by nature. He has inherited this habit from his nomadic ancestors. A youth who has never moved out of his village, is like the proverbial frog in the well. The desire to see the unseen and to know the unknown is a natural instinct of human being.
The educational value of traveling is immense. Our reading of History, Geography, Biology and many other subjects remains incomplete until we see the object with our own eyes. Tagore has rightly said,
"In education reading and seeing must be combined".
Travelling gives a man various pleasures. The Snowy Mountains, Deep Forests, Roaring Seas, the Forts of Delhi and Agra, The Tajmahal, Piramids, The relics of Nalanda, The caves of Aganta and Elora, The Deserts of Rajasthan, The Hills, The deles, The Rivers, The Historical places all over the World and the beautiful and bountiful natural panorama of Kashmir and Darjeeling. Not only give us pleasure but also our bookish knowledge.
Travelling removes prejudice, stimulates fellow-feeling, brother-hood, love, tolerance, courage, self-confidence and energy. It makes one wise and a better man. It justifies Alexander Pope who has said,
"The proper study of man is man."
