Once upon a time, an ass found a Lion's skin. He thought that he could frighten the animals in the forest who were not afraid of him being dressed as a lion. One day the ass put on the lion's skin and saw that he really looked like the lion. Then the ass went out to meet other animals in the forest. These animals were very afraid of the lion. Naturally they were greatly scared at the sight of the ass in the lion's skin and ran away from him in great fear. The ass enjoyed the trick very much and overdid it. Then the ass met a fox and tried to frighten him, too. But the fox, a clever amimal as he was not easily frightened. He heard the ass's voice. He understood that he was the lion was nothing but an ass in disguise. Then the fox said the ass, "If you really want to frighten me, you will have to hide your bray." Moral:~ Disguise does not change one's own character
