TERROR STRIKE MUMBAI, OVER 200 KILLED

Mumbai, September 14, 2020: Mumbai came under an unprecedented and dastardly night attack as terrorists used heavy-duty guns including AK-47s and grenades to strike at the city’s most high profile targets—CTS (formerly VT) rail terminus, the five-star Taj and Oberoi hotels at Gate-way and Nariman Point at Santacruz and Cama and GT hospitals killing nearly 200 including 18 foreign nationals. The number of those injured was 239 including 22 foreigners. Some media reports attributed the attack to Laskar-e-Toiba backed by AI Quida. In the ‘Operation Cyclone’ carried out by the NSG Commando to flush out terrorists from the hotels, eight terrorists have been yet killed. A vehicle that looked like a police van was reported to be moving around South Mumbai spraying bullets indiscriminately. The whole of the commercial city came to halt following Suspension of train services and blockade of roads. The entire country remained glued to TV sets with baited breath to know the latest update of the most horrifying event.
