SAFE DRIVE, SAVE LIFE

********,*******,26th June,20: "Safe Drive, Save Life" is a camping which was launched by the West Bengal state government to make accident-safety country. Safe driving is an essential component of road safety. Every day, so many people lose their lives due to irresponsible and reckless driving. So the purpose of these campaign is to ensure road safety by sensitizing the concept of safe driving among people, especially the youngsters and children. Many schools participated in the "Safe Drive, Save Life" programme organised by the Local police station. In this program the officer-in-charge told us the importance this scheme. He said,"each of us go to office, country, other work places everyday. But we are not comfortable when go on the road because accidents take place regularly". This campaign made a knowledge of the importance of safe drive in our everyday busy life. Traffic rules are not maintained properly by us. the result creates road accidents regularly in our life. We should keep respond to the meaningful speech" Safe Drive, Save Life". We created a road show and banners or posters to awake people from accident-zone. It takes a great role in our modern life. Another aspect of the programme had been the police insisting on the use of helmets both by drivers and pillion riders. CCTV cameras had been set up at important traffic junctures.
