FIRE DESTROYS FACTORY

Chetla, Kolkata, September 6, 2020: A devastating fire broke out in a plastic factory in South Kolkata late last night. The entire building was gutted. The cause of the fire is not yet known. Twenty-five engines rushed to the spot and fought the fire for about four hours bring it under control. Fire brigade sources said the fire spread with uncontrolled rapidity because of the highly inflammable materials stored in the factory. Nobody is reported either injured or killed. But the fire has made the future of its hundred employees quite uncertain.
